In order to increase its competitiveness and to strengthen its position as an automotive supplier, with the title "Increasing the competitiveness of TRIMETRIK Ltd. and the expansion of its production capacities in order to strengthen the domestic and international automotive supplier position" 153.409.619 HUF non-refundable EU grant was awarded to Trimetrik Ltd. in the call for tenders titled “Increasing the production capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises”. The project is funded by the European Union and co-financed by the European Regional and Structural Funds.

During the project our aim was to increase our production capacities inboth plastic injection moulding and tool manufacturing. According to this, the following machines and equipment were procured as parts of this project: 1pc FANUC Roboshot ?-S220iA electric injection moulding machine with robot, 1pc FANUC Roboshot ?-S50iA electric injection moulding machine with robot, 2pcs FANUC Roboshot ?-S100iA electric injection moulding machines, 1pc FANUC M10IA8L-30B-M-PL linear robot; 1pc CNC machining center (Roeders 3-axis HSC machine– RXP501), 1pc MITSUBISHI MV2400R EDM machine and 4pcs 8-channel Smart Molding Control cavity pressure measurement equipment.

We also purchased 4 state-of-the-art dry-air dryers that, circulating the air through silica gel, produces dry air reaching a dew point of approx. -65 ° C, which is suitable for drying engineering plastics. The purchase of the dryers has significantly increased our drying capacity.
We finally acquired 5 state-of-the-art tool temperature control units that electrically heat the tool to a desired temperature of up to 140 ° C using a magnetic clutch pump, keeping the refrigerant at high temperature under five atmospheric pressures, enabling the processing of high-tech materials (PEI, PAA, PEEK), too.
